2019 Season, an overview

2019 will see the club take part in a series of friendly matches against top level clubs from across the New England region as the club prepares for it’s arrival to league soccer in 2020. In the spring of 2020, the Marksmen will begin to play league matches along with taking part in promotion and relegation (Pro/Rel).

Our goal is to the reach the professional ranks through the traditional method of promotion and relegation based on sporting merit. The current closed system of U.S. club soccer does not operate under the traditional methods that most of the world observe, but we the Marksmen will be looking to change that by taking on the traditional standard of club soccer, on & off the pitch.

We invite you to join in on our journey where winning & losing brings a community together and builds players into today’s and tomorrow’s stars. Let’s bring the discussion to reform the U.S. club soccer structure to the pitch by leading by example, club & community.
