Match Day Awareness & Responsibility

 2020 has certainly been a year filled with unique moments for growth and reflection as well numerous challenges. We think it's fair to say that none of us thought we would collectively be in the shoes we stand in today and most certainly we as soccer club never thought we would be putting together a letter that encourages the Fall River & South Coast community to refrain from visiting one of our games, let alone the Fall River Derby.

However, with you, our beloved community in mind, we are asking that you please refrain from coming out to our Wednesday Taca De Fall River match. Although our gates will remain open to the public, our amenities for the game will be extremely limited, including having no available bathrooms on hand. 

We, along with Fall River FC, understand we have an obligation to ensure not only the safety of our own players but the general well being of our community. It's what that in mind that brings us to ask you to please enjoy the 2nd round of the Taca De Fall River from the comforts of home via our live streams. While both of our respective clubs have installed CoVid protocols that has seen zero transmission among players and staff, we want to ensure that our zero transmission rate remains intact by using an abundance of caution and referring you to our live streams. We respect and understand that there may be some or potentially many of you who feel that your right to attend our game shouldn't be infringed upon and to those of you we ask that if you do choose to attend, we will ask that you respect our players & staff, all of which are also productive members of the community, by wearing a mask at all times and keeping a safe and respectable distance from all who are attendance on Wednesday. 

We look forward to hosting you, our community in a more functional and welcoming environment, where you're greeted with the smells of local food trucks and the sights and sounds of music and fans cheering.

We thank you for your understanding and we here with the Marksmen, along with our guests of the evening and partners in Fall River soccer, Fall River FC, thank you for your understanding and for all of your collective efforts throughout these trying times that has made our city an example to others as to what great things can be accomplished when we all come together as one, you're all doing a remarkable job in proving that Fall River, Never Falls.
