FRMFC add Prep School affiliation

The Fall River Marksmen have added a new partner by bringing in the prestigious Newport, Rhode Island based St. George’s School. Founded in 1896, St. George’s is apart of the Independent School League and has long been considered one of the nation’s elite boarding schools. Players entering St. George’s soccer & educational programs via the Marksmen will remain eligible to play for the club and it’s academy while attending the school.

In keeping with the Marksmen mantra to keep costs low and to make all parts of the club accessible and inclusive to all regardless of their economic backgrounds, all players will be given a chance to receive full or partial funding/scholarship. Players and their respective families will also be given the option to board and reside on campus or attend the school as a day time student.

Additional details will also be announced in the very near future, including Marksmen training and match play to take place on site at the campus of St. George’s, as well as friendly match between the school and the Marksmen.
