Marksmen grab Lighthouse Cup

Last night wrapped up the Lighthouse Cup, two matches in one evening to bring things to a close.

Newport FC delivered a sound performance and delivered the Marksmen their first loss of 2021, 0-4. In the second match of the evening the Marksmen bounced back and put away the Providence Armada 6-2.

With all four matches now in the books for all clubs, the tournament comes to close with the Marksmen winning the Lighthouse Cup with a record of 3-1-0.

The Marksmen now head back to the training fields for the next week for intensive training sessions as we prepare for quickly approaching 2021 season. Final roster signings will also be announced in the next week after the club completes it’s trialist combine on March 6th.
