League Action Begins
Week one action saw the Marksmen fall to cross town rivals Fall River FC, 5-1. Ivan Pittamiglio picked up his first goal of the season for the Marksmen (highlight below).
Week two saw the Marksmen travel north to Boston to take on Santa Cruz FC. Both keepers for the Marksmen were unavailable for the match and winger Isma Mendes took on the role of the GK. In the 30th minute, Mendes handled the ball outside of the box and was given a red card. CB Lisandro Andrade took on the GK role and helped the Marksmen stay in the match even though they were down to 10 men. The final whistle brought about a 3-0 score against the Marksmen who tried valiantly to hang in the match down a man & missing their starting keepers.
