Spring season wrapping up

The 2021 BSSL Spring Season is about to draw to a close. The Marksmen will travel up north to Waltham to take on the Homenetmen FC.

With the ‘21 season kicking off in early spring with concerns of the pandemic still fresh on many people’s minds, the BSSL introduced a relaxed schedule for the spring/summer season. This relaxed schedule allowed teams to play in a league environment where the standings at the end of the spring would not carry over to the fall season. The league will meet in the early summer to determine the format of the summer/fall schedule and the potential for the reintroduction of promotion and relegation among the 3 BSSL Divisions.

June 5th will kick off the BSSL League Cup, with the Marksmen being issued a home date against 2nd Division Al Zawaraa FC. The League Cup will continue on in June and resume in the late summer with the Championship match slated for late October or early November.
