Fall River Derby is now underway

The first leg of the 3rd Annual Taca De Fall River is now complete with Fall River FC taking a 2-0 lead going into the second and final leg of the series.

For those not familiar with the Taca De Fall River (Portugese for Fall River Cup), the Marksmen and cross town rivals Fall River FC, play an annual series against each other to determine who’s the best club in Spindle City. The series is played out over two games (referred to as “legs”), home and away, one match at their house, one match in our house. The score from the first match carries over to the second and at the of the 2nd leg the overall score determines the winner. If the score is tied at the end of both matches, we’ll go into penalty kicks to determine the winner.

The second leg of this series will kick off at the home of the Marksmen, Atlantis School Stadium on September 8th at 7:30pm. Admission is free for everyone.

The Marksmen next take on Groton House FC in a BSSL League match this Saturday. The match is a home match, Atlantis Stadium and it kicks off at 4pm. Admission is free & we hope to see you there.
