Thank you BSSL

In 2021 the Marksmen called the Bay State Soccer League (BSSL) home, playing within in the 3rd Division.

The BSSL was given the difficult task of putting together a league structure that fell within the pandemic and what resulted was a split schedule (spring/fall) that saw the fall season being given an official status. We here with the Marksmen appreciate the BSSL’s efforts and determination to provide all of its member clubs a safe and competitive environment during those uncertain times of 2021.

For 2022, the Marksmen will be participating in the NISA affiliated EPSL (Eastern Premier Soccer League) in the New England Champions League Division. The tiered system of the EPSL will allow the Marksmen to take on the very best amateur and professional teams based on the East Coast, along with the opportunity to promote to the professional national level, the 3rd Division, NISA (National Independent Soccer Assoc).

As with last year, the Marksmen will again field a secondary team in 2022. With our 1st team now committed to the EPSL, our second team however will not be playing in the BSSL this year and as such will see the Marksmen now officially part ways with the BSSL. We’d like to thank the BSSL again for its efforts during the trying times of 2020 & 2021 and we wish them well with the up and coming 2022 season.

More information on the 2022 EPSL season is coming soon, along with additional information on our 2nd team and it’s plans for league play in the 2022 season.
