Marksmen qualify for playoffs
The 2022 shortened EPSL season for the New England conference has officially come to a close. With 9 matches on the Marksmen schedule for it’s inaugural EPSL season, the club finished with a winning record of 4 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses that earned the club 5th place in the 10 team conference and spot in the league playoffs.
With the playoff brackets seeding the 4th place team against the 5th place team, the Marksmen will take on the Hartford, Connecticut based KO Elites FC. KO Elites are a familiar foe to the Marksmen, with both sides squaring off in a preseason friendly match and in the regular season, with KO winning both matches rather comfortably, 0-4 & 0-6 respectively.
The third installment of the 2022 Marksmen vs. KO Elites match up will see each other face on in the quarterfinals on Sunday June 12th in Boston, a 6:30pm kick off at West Roxbury High School. The winner of the match will move onto the semi-finals the following weekend and play the 2nd place Santa Cruz FC U20 team.
